STEP 1: STRATEGISE
Working with Asset Managers, Building Owners or Managers, we start by taking a genuinely holistic look at your entire portfolio to identify the shortcomings and opportunities of your building(s).
With our strong background and experience in project-specific financial planning and execution, and our range of in-house benchmarking and modelling tools, we understand the importance of gathering relevant data, and then analysing, interpreting and presenting it in a way that can guide confident asset management decisions.
We’ll present a strategy based on which green building interventions are best suited, as well as clearly present the return on investment that can be achieved, be it economic, environmental or social. We have developed benchmarking tools to compare buildings and easily identify where the most urgent interventions are required.
Sophisticated modelling tools also allow us to accurately predict future performance and return on investment. Weighing up different initiatives or projects, such as HVAC replacement versus lighting retrofits. Having developed these systems in-house gives us the edge, which in turn gives your property portfolio a significant sustainability advantage.
STRATEGISE
STEP 2: IMPLEMENT
Once the strategic decisions have been made, we ensure that the projects are successfully carried out, and all the subsequent monitoring and evaluation of system performance takes place.
Opportunities identified in the strategy phase could relate to certification, energy efficiency, renewable energy generation, waste management, water efficiency or sustainable interior design interventions that encourage healthier, more considered spaces.
We develop and facilitate implementation of the specific initiatives we’ve recommended and produce board-level presentations that can help the approval process and get the procurement stage approved.
During implementation, we value collaboration and partner with specialists who have a proven track record and expertise in green building and environmental solutions. We are committed to coordinating a transparent and independent procurement process as well as provide guidance to ensure contractors can be well-briefed on what they would be required to deliver.
The delivery of sustainability initiatives is managed right from procurement from trusted third parties, through to implementation and eventual monitoring of interventions.
IMPLEMENT
STEP 3: MONITOR
Our approach offers a continuous loop of improvement, which is facilitated by the implementation of systems to monitor and evaluate your sustainability initiatives.
Our sophisticated in-house benchmarking and modelling tools ensure that once your projects have been implemented, we’re easily able to collect and analyse more refined and accurate data, giving us the ability to re-evaluate the strategy and make ongoing improvements to the performance of your building(s).
Our goal is to find ways to continuously unlock further value within the same property.
MONITOR
For new projects, we work with Clients to determine the feasibility of proposed sustainability projects by gathering information and undergoing high-level analyses and designs. These impactful insights aim to assist in decision-making and finding the best technical options that clearly present the return on investment that can be achieved, be it economic, environmental or social.
With our strong background and experience in project-specific financial planning and execution, and our range of in-house tools and methodology, we understand the importance of gathering relevant data, and then analysing, interpreting and presenting it in a way that can guide confident decisions.
It is important that existing or prospective projects under consideration for incorporation into your portfolio are aptly examined for viability, risks, and returns.
For these sites, we gather the details and evaluate the project and related contracts to provide high-level indications of the technical and financial feasibility from a Client and Offtaker perspective. We aim to provide guidance towards projects under consideration for funding or purchase that are well set up to provide good value on the investment, and present the risks involved in all projects.
When a project enters our monitoring structure, we advise in appointing and work with Operations and Management Contractors to obtain, and assess the schedule of planned maintenance works and ensure all requirements to be met.
We understand the importance or reliable maintenance to ensure projects succeed into the future. To facilitate this, we vet and put forward O&M contractors that would be best suited to the project, ensuring a fair financial offering, and work with them to validate that their O&M structure fulfills the requirements of steady and effective inspections and maintenance works.
Once the strategic decisions have been made, we ensure that the projects are successfully carried out, and all the subsequent systems of monitoring and evaluation of system performance is prepared.
During the implementation of new projects, we work with the Client and Contractor to oversee the project and track costs, progress and workmanship to ensure the project is completed on time, within budget, and to a high quality. After commissioning, we undertake a performance monitoring period to confirm the system is performing sufficiently. We value a secure, well-constructed system that achieves your goals.
Should the metering of an existing project be insufficient, we advise on new devices to be installed that provide crucial detail for our assessing performance.
We emphasise transparency and collaboration in order to manage the project to completion of the highest standard.
Our approach offers a continuous loop of maintenance and improvement, which is facilitated by the implementation of systems and meters to monitor and evaluate your sustainability projects. From these, we can identify areas for optimisations which can be accomplished by collaborating with the O&M contractors.
Our sophisticated in-house modelling ensures that, once your projects have been implemented, we are easily able to collect and analyse more refined and accurate data, giving us the ability to actively determine site performance compared to accurate estimates, and root out any issues.
Our goal is to facilitate the continuous return on investment. We operate with Weekly checks to resolve immediate issues, and monthly data analysis to evaluate if the site is at peak performance, uploaded on our new Imbue Portal. Every quarter, we provide in-depth, comprehensive reporting so that you unambiguously know how your project is performing and what works have occurred or are underway.
We communicate proactively with O&M contractors, that we can assist in vetting and appointing, to push the addressal of issues and request reports related to the works on site. We assist in reviewing any additional costs to ensure you are getting the best deal.
The O&M structure we put in place is comprehensive and encompasses all works and inspections required to maintain projects, our expertise lying in Solar PV systems. We have had great success working with reliable O&M contractors to maintain site performance and stability.
